There is absolutely no charge to the purchaser and registering the purchase is not mandatory. Purchasers of an item with "The Only Seal", SCAA's 'Seal of Credibility', pays only to register the purchase with SCAA, a one time fee of $25.

The SCAA 'Money Back Guarantee' on an item certified and carrying "The Only Seal", SCAA's 'Seal of Credibility' is valid only when the purchase is recorded at SCAA Headquarters by the purchaser. See the 'Certificate' for details.

Bottom line, as a purchaser you do not pay anything extra to get the SCAA 'Seal of Credibility' and a 'Certificate of Credibility' on any item already certified by one of our approved and registered Certified Certifiers.
